Barangay was a fundraising effort organized by fellow Anakbayan BC members, where we raised funds to attend the national Congress happening in Toronto this year.

Throughout the night, we shared short films, digital art, sound art pieces, live music performances, and a wide variety of art displayed all over the walls, covering as much space to showcase the creativity, brilliance, and blooming Filipino communities in our own neighbourhoods! 

 

Thank you to all of our attendees and artists for supporting us in our efforts of strengthening our local community-building and solidarity efforts, as well as our struggle and pursuit of national democracy in the Philippines!
